GL-07 education

By | July 14, 2016

A GL-07 level education is a requirement indicator typically found on government job listing details. For government jobs such as working for the U.S. Marshals, Department of Homeland Security, or C.I.A. the GL-07 education level represents the requirement of having at least one year of related graduate level study in the appropriate field. For anyone looking to match and surpass GL-07 education requirements it helps to have a bachelor’s degree already in the related field, with a GPA of at least 3.0 out of 4.0. The GL-07 makes it easier for prospective applicants, current or former government workers to understand the job description requirements and expectations, as well as strengthen said government workforce with not only educated but also often experienced candidates.

If you have only attended some undergraduate study and still looking to meet the GL-07 requirements and expectations then it is again critical that you have at least a GPA of 3.0 to remain both competitive as well as eligible. The GL-07 education level requirements for a government job will typically involve a field-agent based job, or junior to managerial level position, with a very competitive salary average of around $45-$60K annually.
